A steep path leads down into this bustling little village with quaint shops and a long sandy beach. Robin Hood's Bay is very popular with artists and often hosts live music. The village has an excellent website with full details of the many activities available.

The Laurel Inn. Think of the ideal Yorkshire pub, open fires, old brickwork, cosy corners and good beer. Recommended by The Campaign for Real Ale, the Laurel has an intimate charm of days gone by and is well worth a visit.
